Our Story

Founded in 2018, Digiabled is more than just a business—it’s a movement. Born out of a desire to create equal opportunities for differently-abled individuals and rural tribals, Digiabled stands as a testament to the power of human spirit and creativity. Despite facing challenges, including a two-year closure during the COVID pandemic, our passion has only grown stronger. Today, we proudly operate under Edu Ventures Pvt. Ltd. in India, with dreams and plans to expand our reach internationally.

Our Mission

At Digiabled, our mission is simple yet profound: to empower artisans who are often overlooked by society and provide them with a platform to showcase their incredible talents. We work with a diverse group of artisans—including a blind artist, a short-sighted creator, a deaf and mute innovator, a dual amputee, and an individual born with a single arm—each bringing a unique perspective and skill set to our community. Their work is a daily reminder that true creativity transcends physical limitations.

Craftsmanship Beyond Compare

Our products are crafted with care, passion, and an unwavering attention to detail. Take, for instance, our handmade beaded bags—each bag takes over 20 hours to complete. This isn’t just a bag; it’s a labor of love, where every bead and every stitch reflects the artisan’s skill and dedication. Alongside our bags, we offer exquisite jewelry, stylish fashion accessories, and even handcrafted electronics like LED bulbs. Each product not only represents fine craftsmanship but also carries the spirit of our artisans with every detail.

Building a Brighter Future

While Digiabled has its roots in India, our vision extends far beyond. We are actively planning to expand our operations to include differently-abled artisans in the USA. This expansion is part of our ongoing commitment to create inclusive opportunities for talented individuals worldwide. Alongside our core venture, we also run Omkriti—a separate brand focused on fashion accessories crafted by a mix of disabled and non-disabled artisans. This initiative helps us keep costs in check while delivering beautiful, affordable products.
